Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated on Thursday that new phone conversations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and former United States President Donald Trump are possible ahead of their expected meeting, RIA Novosti reported, quoting Life news outlet correspondent Alexander Yunashev.

Earlier in the day, Peskov confirmed that Moscow and Washington would keep in touch following their phone call yesterday, which Trump described as "lengthy and highly productive." The president noted that the two leaders may meet in Saudi Arabia to begin negotiations.
