Kim orders 'mass production' of suicide drones
North Korea's Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un supervised a test performance of suicide attack drones, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.
He ordered that these drones be mass-produced. According to KCNA, the tested drones were created to be "used in different strike zones on land and at sea" and "have the mission of precisely attacking arbitrary enemy targets."
"There is an accelerating global race to introduce innovative technologies and use drones as a primary means of military power ... I think militaries around the world all recognize that drones are achieving clear results in [both] large and small conflicts," Kim commented, adding that Pyongyang has the capabilities to produce various types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
