Jordan's Prime Minister Jafar Hassan announced on Wednesday that his country is working with Egypt to develop a plan for the reconstruction of Gaza.

Using X, he emphasized that Jordan is collaborating with Egypt, Arab nations, and Palestinian leaders to establish a unified Arab position on Gaza's reconstruction and to jointly craft a detailed reconstruction plan to support Gaza's recovery while keeping Palestinians in their homeland. Hassan reiterated Jordan's firm stance against the displacement of Palestinians, affirming, "No settlement, no displacement, and no solutions at Jordan's expense."

He praised King Abdullah II's leadership, stating that during his meeting with US President Donald Trump, the King "clearly emphasized that Jordan's interests, stability, and the protection of Jordan and Jordanians are above all considerations."
