Israel's Foreign Minister Israel Katz said on Monday that there are many alternatives to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) that are not marked by "terrorist activity."

"There are already substitutes for UNRWA today. There are other international aid agencies that are not tainted by terrorist activity," Katz noted in a post on X while slamming the UN for ignoring Israel's evidence proving that many of UNRWA workers are "Hamas terrorists."

Earlier in the day, the Israeli Foreign Ministry officially notified the UN of the cancellation of the agreement signed in 1967 authorizing UNRWA to carry out operations in Israel, the Gaza Strip, and the West Bank.
