The Israeli Defense Forces are said to have bombarded the heart of the Lebanese capital for the second time on Tuesday after issuing an evacuation order targeting areas outside Hezbollah's stronghold in the southern suburbs of Beirut, the Lebanese media reported.

Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced the evacuation orders, sharing a map that urged residents to leave central and western Beirut, including areas near the American University of Beirut.

Earlier today, the Israeli military bombed Beirut's southern suburbs, striking the area 20 times in just two minutes. The attack targeted Hezbollah's infrastructure ahead of the Israeli cabinet's vote on a Washington-proposed ceasefire with the Lebanese militant group.
