The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Saturday that it eliminated 40 Hamas operatives in the Gaza Strip and destroyed the militant group's weapons and vehicles.

Additionally, the military noted that it targeted over 150 Hamas positions in Gaza, including weapon depots and rocket launching sites in the Morag Corridor area between Rafah and Khan Younis.

The IDF also said that it demolished a booby-trapped tunnel in the Shaboura camp in Rafah, and seized additional weapons belonging to the Palestinian militant group.
