Israel declares border crossing with Egypt closed zone

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) declared the Nitzana Border Crossing between Israel and Egypt a "closed military zone," as part of its final preparations to implement the final stages of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, Al Jazeera reported, adding that the kibbutzim of Yad Mordechai and Kerem Shalom will also be designated closed military zones until January 24.
The IDF bombed a number of residential buildings north of the Nusereit camp, which is located in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli military has also stormed the West Bank town of Tamoun, located south of the Tubas Governorate.
Additionally, it also been reported raiding the Taawon neighborhood of the city of Nablus in the West Bank.
