Hamas and Israel have exchanged accusations following recent prisoner releases as part of a ceasefire deal.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog condemned the hostages' condition, calling it a "crime against humanity." He described them as "starved, emaciated and pained" and criticized Hamas for their treatment.

Meanwhile, Hamas accused Israel of "slow killing" Palestinian prisoners. Seven Palestinians, recently released in the prisoner exchange, were hospitalized due to poor health after their time in Israeli prisons. Hamas claimed this was evidence of systematic abuse by Israeli authorities, referring to it as part of a broader policy by the Israeli government.
