The Iranian Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Esmail Baghaei announced during a Monday press conference that his country will "carefully monitor" Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's trip to the United States, where he will meet with President Donald Trump.

Baghaei stated that Tehran will assess how the meeting will affect the Middle East and, notably, Palestine.

Trump will welcome Netanyahu at the White House on February and allegedly have two meeting with him.
