Hamas said on Thursday that Israel's attacks on Yemen are a "dangerous development" and commended Houthis missile strikes at Tel Aviv.

"We regard this escalation as a dangerous development and an extension of the aggression against our Palestinian people, Syria and the Arab region," the Palestinian militant group said in a statement, while its armed wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, praised Houthis and urged it to launch more attacks on Israel "until the occupation submits and ends its genocidal war."

Earlier today, Yemen's rebel group Houthis claimed an attack on Tel Aviv using two hypersonic ballistic missiles, following the Israeli airstrikes on Yemen that reportedly killed at least nine people.
