China's Politburo pledged Monday that it plans to adopt a "moderately loose"monetary policy and a more proactive fiscal approach next year.
In what appears to be the first change in China's monetary policy stance since 2011, the government pledged to boost economic consumption and stabilize the struggling real estate sector.
China's top decision-making body also stated that it would stabilize the stock market while strengthening "unconventional countercyclical" adjustment to improve citizens' livelihoods.
