Europe opens higher with data in focus

Major stock market indexes in Europe opened higher on Friday after France reported an annual inflation rate of 1.2% in September and ahead of the updates on Germany's unemployment figures and consumer confidence in the Eurozone.

The DAX increased by 0.24% as Porche AG expanded by 1.29% at 9:01 am CET. The FTSE 100 gained 0.11%, with Pershing Square Holdings Ltd. jumping by 2.94%. The CAC 40 grew by 0.26%. The Eurostoxx 50 rose by 0.11%. Kering was the best performer on the two latter indexes, soaring by 3.21% at 9:02 am CET.

The euro declined by 0.25% against the dollar at 8:59 am CET to sell for $1.11511. Simultaneously, the pound sterling lost 0.19% to the greenback to change hands for $1.33895.
