Russia's air defense systems destroyed 11 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Rostov region in the country's southwest and one drone over the Belgorod region, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced.

Drones were intercepted over the city of Taganrog on the coast of the Azov Sea, the local governor wrote on his Telegram channel without revealing whether there were casualties or material damage.

Meanwhile, an air raid alert was declared in several regions of Ukraine, with local media reporting blasts in the Kiev region.
