Donald Trump Jr. allegedly mulls 2028 presidential bid
Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of United States President Donald Trump, is considering running for president in 2028, Mediaite reported on Friday, citing sources.
Previously, when the current head of state was asked whether he sees Vice President JD Vance as his successor, Trump mentioned that while he believes he is "very capable," he doesn't see him in the role. Sources told Mediaite that this sentiment wasn't strange, as Trump wishes to "keep his dynasty alive past the expiration of his own second term."
One White House source said that of all the president's children, Trump Jr. has been the most politically involved. "He is a valued voice for his father, and a real possibility to be a contender in 2028," the source added.
