Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao expressed concern on Sunday about Japan's export control measures against China's semiconductor-related items and anti-dumping duties on Chinese graphite electrodes. Wang met with Japanese Economy, Trade, and Industry Minister Yoji Muto on the sidelines of a trilateral trade summit with South Korea.
According to the Global Times, Wang hoped China and Japan can "maintain a stable and smooth industrial chain and supply chain, and to promote the healthy and stable development of China-Japan economic and trade relations."
