Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun stated Tuesday that Beijing's position regarding the conflict in Ukraine remains "clear and consistent" and that the country supports all "efforts conducive to peace."

Guo stressed China "hopes that all relevant parties will continue to resolve the crisis through dialogue and negotiation."
