Anora won Best Picture at the 2025 Academy Awards, with Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal presenting the honor.

The film also earned Sean Baker three Oscars for Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Editing, while Mikey Madison won Best Actress for her performance in the film.

The Brutalist also had a strong showing, winning Best Actor for Adrien Brody, along with awards for Best Original Score for Daniel Blumberg and Best Cinematography for Lol Crawley. Dune: Part Two followed with two wins, claiming Best Sound and Best Visual Effects. Emilia Pérez and Wicked matched that with two Oscars of their own. Wicked's Nathan Crowley and Lee Sandales won Best Production Design and Paul Tazewell took Best Costume Design. Rounding out the night, Brazil's I'm Still Here won Best International Feature.
