Amazon highlights AI push with 1,000 new applications

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy announced Wednesday that the company has developed or is developing over 1,000 generative AI applications.
Speaking at Amazon's 2025 devices event, Jassy emphasized how AI is enhancing customer experiences. He highlighted Amazon's partnerships with companies like Nvidia, reinforcing its deep involvement in AI.
Jassy stressed that Amazon's AI efforts aim to "solve real customer problems" and deliver better price-performance. Following his speech, Panos Panay, Amazon's senior executive, introduced major updates to Alexa, saying its entire architecture has been revamped. "We're pumped about it," he said.
