An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 struck South Africa's Northern Cape province, 356 kilometers north of Worcester, according to the data provided by the Euro-Meditteranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers at 2:51 am local time. There have been no reports of casualties or damage to buildings.
