The aim of the Fund is to generate the highest possible return for its shareholders by investing primarily in shares of international companies involved in the water sector. The Fund will invest primarily in the shares of companies that are listed on recognised stock exchanges worldwide and which, in the opinion of the Investment Manager, on an aggregate portfolio basis, generate a substantial proportion of their turnover from and operate on a sustainable basis in the water solutions sector. The Fund will not invest more than 30% of net assets in emerging markets. The Fund is considered to be actively managed in reference to the MSCI ACWI Index by virtue of the fact that it uses the Index for performance comparison purposes. However the Index is not used to define the portfolio composition of the Fund or as a performance target and the Fund may be wholly invested in securities which are not constituents of the Index.
