Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for de-escalation between Pakistan and India, urging an end to rising tensions before they worsen on Monday.

In a speech, Erdogan said that during a meeting with Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, he emphasized that Turkey does not want new conflicts in the region. He also highlighted strong defense collaboration and trade relations between the two countries, noting that Ankara is monitoring the situation closely and may play a role in resolving the conflict. His comments come amid heightened tensions between Pakistan and India, with trade halted and military exchanges intensifying.

In addition, Erdogan condemned the bloodshed and deprivation of food and medical aid to Palestinians, reaffirming their right to land in Gaza and the West Bank. He also offered condolences to those who died in the port explosion in Iran.
