Wall Street closes mixed ahead of tech earnings

Major United States stock indexes traded mixed at the close on Wednesday with all attention turning to Nvidia, as investors awaited the company's quarterly financial report which will be released in a matter of minutes.

The Dow Jones added 0.32% at the closing bell, as UnitedHealth jumped 4.07%. Concurrently, the Nasdaq 100 declined 0.08% with Supermicro dropping 8.74%. The S&P 500 traded flat at the close.

The euro slid 0.52% against the dollar at 3:59 pm ET, going for 1.05389.
