Trump: I was totally innocent from beginning
Former United States President Donald Trump reacted on Tuesday to the decision to have his sentencing in the hush money trial in New York postponed until September 18 by describing it as "total exoneration" and insisting that he was "totally and completely innocent from the beginning of this giant and highly illegal scam."
"It is clear that the Supreme Court's Brilliantly Written and Historic Decision ENDS all of Crooked [US President] Joe Biden's Witch Hunts against me," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "All of these Unfair Charges represent the WORST level of Election Interference in our Country's long and storied History."
"The impact of the Immunity Ruling is a loud and clear signal for Justice in the United States," he concluded, expressing his pride to be an American.
