Israel detects 5 Lebanese rockets, prompting alerts

Air alerts were activated in the Gulf region of Israel after five rockets were detected crossing Lebanese territory, the Israeli Air Force reported.

According to the Air Force's post on X, formerly Twitter, some of the projectiles were intercepted and no casualties have been reported.

The conflict between Israel and Lebanon reached an even higher pitch recently after Hezbollah vowed to target Tel Aviv after Israel hit central Beirut.
