Erdogan: No one can feel safe as long as Israel's Gaza op continues

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan underlined on Tuesday that no country in the region, including Turkey, can feel safe as long as Israel continues its attacks in the Gaza Strip.

"Turkey is not and will not be a state that abandons its friends," Erdogan said, speaking after a cabinet meeting in Ankara and further adding that Israel's growing threat rhetoric, alongside its strikes on Lebanon, is very concerning.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated earlier that there will be no ceasefire deal in Gaza until the country achieves its goals.
